CBA Repertoire Series #5: Dance Like Your Daddy
28 May 2020

“Dance Like Your Daddy” is a fun, sassy Jazz item performed by our Grade 2 and 3 Jazz students! 👯

Over the past couple of years, CBA has offered Contemp and Jazz alongside our Ballet training. More and more of our students have started to pick up multiple dance genres, challenging themselves to be stronger and more versatile dancers! 💪

Choreographed by Ms Charmaine Tay, this item won 3rd prize at Get The Beat 2019 (10&U Group Jazz) and CSTD Singapore Regional Competition 2019 (11&U Group Jazz). 🏆 It was an achievement for the girls as many of them had only one year of Jazz training at the time.

CBA Repertoire Series #4: Waves of Blue

Dance with the waves and let your dreams fly! 🌊🌈

“Waves of Blue” is a classical ballet piece choreographed by Ms Ma Yu.
This item won 2nd prize at Get The Beat 2019 for the 12&U Group Classical category! 👏

It was also performed at CBA’s 2019 Performance by our Grade 5 and Intermediate Foundation students. ❤️

CBA Repertoire Series #3: Enchanted Chimes
25 May 2020

“Enchanted Chimes” was our Primary and Grade 1 students’ first dance competition, also the 1st time performing on stage for many of them.

They have done a great job, achieving:

1st for the 8 & under group category
Top 5 for the Petite Group Championship against the winners of other dance genres

Their hard work shines through their happy, glowing faces and gleaming bells!

“Meow, meow, meow……..”
Performed by our Pre-Primary and Primary ballet students, “Cattitude” is a dance piece sure to warm your hearts and make you go ‘Awww…’ 🐱😍

This piece was jointly choreographed and rehearsed by Ms Yarra Ileto and Ms Shihoko Yonai as part of CBA’s 2017 Year End Performance! 🐈

Thank you to Theresa, Skye and Haruka for sharing!
22 May 2020

Today, we would like to take the opportunity to thank three of our students for sharing with all our students their training exercises that can be done at home. They have each put in lots of time and effort to come up with a comprehensive video with detailed explanations, pointers and demonstrations❣️
