Ms Bao Yishuang graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, where she was vocationally trained in ballet, contemporary, character dance and pas de deux.

Ms Bao’s international performing experience includes international ballet summer intensives (by invitation only), the Russian Ballet summer intensive in St.Petersburg and the APEC Summit in Beijing, China.

Ms Bao holds a Beijing Dancing Academy Ballet Grading Teacher’s Certificate and has taught in Beijing, Qingdao and Singapore. She also has experience in choreographing and teaching children (age 3 – 15 years old) as well as adults. She is enthusiastic in teaching and her vocational training and dance experience has equipped her with the knowledge to provide training and support for her students in the long run.

Wishing to further her dance education and broaden her knowledge in teaching, she majored in Ballet at the Singapore Raffles Music College which allowed her to gain proficiency in teaching within an English-speaking environment. Her vocational training in Beijing, supplemented with her dance education in Singapore, has given her different perspectives and depth to her understanding of ballet, and equipped her with a unique teaching approach.
