A dance educator with over 20 years of experience, Ms Cindy is a dedicated teacher who has groomed many students to excel and pursue dance and teaching professionally. An Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), she holds a Teaching Certificate with Distinction. She also guides and mentor trainee teachers as a Practical Teaching Supervisor and Mentor of the RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies Programme (CBTS). Ms Cindy has trained students for all RAD levels up to Advanced 2, achieving outstanding results.

Ms Cindy’s students have won scholarships and awards in numerous competitions and summer schools. They include:

Ms Cindy has trained many young dancers who have been accepted into international vocational dance schools and pre-professional programmes, including National Theatre Ballet School (Melbourne) Full Time Programme, Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, DC (Summer Intensive), Singapore Ballet Scholars’ Programme and Ballet Associates Course.

Many of her students have also gained admission into prestigious local schools through Direct School Admission (DSA) to School of the Arts, Singapore Chinese Girls’ School, River Valley High School, Nan Hua High School and St. Margaret’s Secondary School.
Prior to joining City Ballet Academy, Ms Cindy was a principal in-charge of an Elite Programme providing training and artistic advice to trainers. She firmly believes in education with a heart, helping each student achieve their personal best and supporting them in their all-round development.
