With over two decades of dance experience, Haniya specializes in ballet and contemporary dance. She has completed the RAD Vocational Ballet Syllabus up to Advanced 2 and has competed successfully in prestigious competitions such as Get The Beat, the International Arts Festival, and CODA, winning multiple awards in both ballet and contemporary categories.

She has performed under Alex Medzinski in a One Dance Asia CODA workshop and participated in recitals led by esteemed instructors from One Dance Asia, Converge Studios, and O School. Beyond ballet and contemporary, she has explored open choreography and street jazz, further expanding her artistic versatility.

As a choreographer, Haniya has created works for NTU’s JDC 2022 and NTU Contemp{minated} Production 2025. She also has experience teaching contemporary dance to students aged up to 18 and above.

Haniya’s diverse background across various styles, techniques, and performances shapes her distinctive artistic voice. As an instructor, she is passionate about inspiring dancers to explore their creativity and express themselves through movement.
