Born in Korea, Ms Yoojin was trained under the Yoo’s Ballet Conservatory. Ms Yoojin joined various competitions where she has earned top ranks and notable awards, including 1st prize at International Ballet Grand Prix Singapore, Taiwan International Grand Prix and Malaysian International Grand Prix, 2nd prize at Tanzolymp Asia – South Korea. Her performance has also gain her many scholarships from world renowed vocational schools including National Ballet Theatre (Australia) and Elmhurst Ballet School (UK). Ms Yoojin has obtain Distinction for all her RAD exam up to Advanced 2 level. She has performed in many roles from some of the most well known repertoires such as Giselle peasant pas de deux, Satanella pas de deux and Stars and Stripe pas de deux, etc.
In addition to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts scholarship at the International Ballet Grand Prix Singapore (IBGPS), Ms. Yoojin also received the Dean’s List Award from NAFA and Tuition Grant from the Ministry of Education in Singapore. She has decided to move to Singapore to continue her dance education and is also a scholarship recipient of Singapore Ballet’s Scholars Programme.
Ms Yoojin has been teaching for the past couple of years in Korea and Singapore, she has taught students from age 5 to adult level. And her knowledge in both RAD exam syllabus and vocational training is providing her with a unique approach to students of wide range.
