BALLET STORIES – GISELLE

City Ballet Academy Vaganova is proud to bring back Ballet Stories, a 2-hour educational session where we bring you into the magical world of each Ballet story. This March, let us introduce you to the greatest Ballet story of the romantic era – Giselle!

You will be introduced to the story, the history of the creation of the Ballet, music, costumes, sets, choreography etc. Learn to tell a story on stage with mime and dance excerpts from the Ballet like the scene of the Wilis in Act 2.

Be inspired and step out of the story with a new-found understanding of the Ballet by experiencing it live yourselves. Hear from our Principal and Vice-Principal, who were international dancers themselves, about their own journeys dancing in Giselle.

Suitable for children from age 5 onwards to adults. Parents are strongly encouraged to come along and join in the session. All are welcome at our Ballet Stories series!

Day/Date: Thursday, 14 March 2024

Time: 4.30 – 6.30pm

Venue: City Ballet Academy Vaganova (@Tanglin Mall, Level 3)
