At Advanced Foundation Year 1, students are required to demonstrate an ability to perform dance combinations of higher technical difficulty with ease and show a sound understanding of musical interpretation like phrasing and dynamics through movement.
Students are to demonstrate an increasingly expansive range of vocabulary and the ability to co-ordinate complex movements to produce combinations of steps and quality of movement with precision and control.
While the focus at this level is in building a strong Ballet technique, students learn to develop performance skills like expression, projection and adding colour to their performance.
Students are required to attend two classes weekly.
Each term consists of 20 lessons.

At Advanced Foundation Year 2, students are required to perform a breadth of Ballet vocabulary with the right precision, control and dynamics, showing an in-depth understanding of the Ballet technique and refinement of beautiful lines.
Students will learn to perform with an increasing sense of maturity and accomplished sense of performance, by displaying a sophisticated response to musical content and style.
Students are required to attend two classes weekly.
