Duration: 1 hour

Students in the Primary level will take their first RAD Ballet exam. Skills acquired at this level will enable them to transition easily into higher levels of Ballet and other dance genres. 

Students expand their Ballet vocabulary, learning fundamental Ballet steps like Plié, Tendu, Sauté, transfer of weight and more. These help inculcate the right posture, improved coordination and control of the whole body, better weight placement and spatial awareness. They will also develop a keen eye to master dance movements and steps as they will be challenged to perform a little solo dance, demonstrating their technique, musicality and dance quality at the same time.  

*From October till exam (March – April), students are to attend an additional exam coaching class to prepare them for their first RAD examination.

Each term consists of 20 lessons.
